Here you will find all the info you need relating to our online and store returns policy.

What’s the returns period?
The returns period is 28 days from the date of receipt of goods on presentation of the standard shop receipt or online order packing slip/dispatch email.

How do I make a return?
Returns are not possible without an RMA (returns merchandise authorisation) number. You must have an RMA number before you can send an item back.

How do I get an RMA number?
In order to get an RMA number your purchase must be within our 28 day returns period. Simply use the button below to go to our RMA Page, enter your order number and your email address and click the SUBMIT REQUEST button. If your order is eligible you will be taken to the returns portal where you can choose your item from your order history and request a return.
We will need to ‘APPROVE’ your request and send you your RMA number by email which will need to accompany your return when posting back or calling to our shop. Items returned without an RMA number are ineligible for refund and will be refused.

Once your RMA request has been approved we have two ways for you to return your purchase to us.

1. Returns by post (refund only): We do not allow return by post for exchange. Customers that wish to return an online purchase for a refund should post the item(s) and the dispatch note back to us within 28 days of purchase. We recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining proof of postage for your records.
2. In-store exchange or refund: You can exchange an item or receive a refund in store within 28 days of purchase by returning the item(s) and delivery dispatch note to our store in Little Island Cork. Full address can be found on your RMA acceptance.

How do I post my return?
Items must be returned as sold, in saleable condition with the original packaging and all tags attached. We need to resell these items so please treat them with care, failure to return goods in perfect condition will result in a refusal of refund.

How do I return in store?
As with postal returns, items must be returned as sold, in saleable condition with the original packaging and all tags attached.

What can’t I return?
We cannot accept any sale, end of line, clearance or items that were custom printed or personalised in any way. For reasons of hygiene either sealed or unsealed we cannot accept back Face Coverings, Underwear or Socks. Gift Vouchers are treated as cash and are exempt from our Returns Policy.

I didn’t make the purchase, it was a gift, can I return it?
Gifts can only be returned in store within 28 days of purchase upon presentation of the item(s) in saleable condition, including swing tags and original packaging and delivery dispatch note. Item(s) can be exchanged for other item(s) up to the value paid for the gift or the amount can be transferred to a Hairy Baby gift card which can be used online at a later date.
The original purchaser of the gift may be able to cancel the order within 14 days of receipt of the item.

I got a faulty item, can I return it?
As all garments are printed by hand we have a strict quality control system before an order is shipped however in the unlikely event that your purchase is faulty, we are happy to provide a refund. Please return the item by post to the returns address below listing the reason for the return as Faulty on the delivery dispatch note. Once we have confirmed that the item is faulty, we will refund the amount paid back to the original form of payment and include the cost of returning the order.
Items can also be returned in store by presenting the order and delivery dispatch note to the Customer Service desk in any of our stores. Once we confirm the item is faulty, we will refund the amount paid to the original form of payment or exchange it for another item in store.

Things to check before sending your item back.
Returns should be folded and packaged in a manner that protects the item. Please take care to return the garment to us in the same manner that you would return an item to a high street store. Please understand that the item you return must be eligible for resale and begs the question "Would I buy it if I saw it in a store in the condition I am returning it?". We reserve the right to assess any damage incurred during return shipment and to refuse such items if necessary.

Due to the fact that Hairy Baby Clothing cannot resell these items, we cannot accept returns that smell strongly of (cigarette) smoke, body odour, aftershave/cologne, perfume, cooking/food or are stained with make up. We will not accept returns or exchanges for any item that has been washed in any way, dryed in a dryer, or damaged/stained/marked/skuffed in any way.
